Mayday is an emergency procedure word used internationally as a distress signal.It is derived from the French venez m’aider, meaning “come help me”.

Mayday is a recognized distress signal!  When repeated three times by the one in distress – “Mayday, mayday, mayday”…the first responders come to the rescue!

May is a month that is packed with ‘busy-ness’ which can bring stress and distress! Another school year is winding down…kids from kindergarten to post graduates are taking that next big step in their lives – graduation! Kids will be out of school for the summer…there are vacations to plan… camp schedules to work around…swimming lessons…tennis lessons…baseball…softball…tournaments…busy, busy, busy…

Make your home sparkle by washing the windows (inside and out!), pressure washing the exterior, caulking tubs, showers, sinks, cleaning out the refrigerator (Yes, the buyer is going to open the refrigerator!), vacuuming, dusting, replacing worn rugs and hanging up fresh towels.

Does the exterior invite you in?  Are the sidewalks swept?  Lawn mowed? Pine straw in the flower beds? Flowers?  Bushes trimmed? Peeling paint?
